My name is Chad Castle this is one part of my Website I hesitated publishing mostly because I’m more of the shy quiet personal type of person. I have 2 amazing kids a lovely wife and Dex our dog. I’m really easy going and I love to make things, mainly from wood. It all started a couple years ago when my dad gave me an old black and decker table saw that was at least 25+ years old, I was looking for something to keep me busy and my mind off of worrying about if I’m going to wake up sick again or being sick all the time from diabetes so  I made a few things for myself with that old table saw and would also have people ask me to make them things mainly my wife and mom (thanks guys love ya!) Not only did I find some sort of gratitude making things in general but to make things for loved ones made it that much more special. While out in my garage working with that old black and decker table saw one day I nearly cut my thumb off making some outdoor planters and my wife had to rush me to the hospital to get stitches. I still used that tablesaw after that for quite some time because I would always seem to be in need of insulin and other diabetic supplies but this is where I started researching a new table saw that was a lot safer and actually has safety guards and all that well needless to say prices for tools are outrageous. One day I was thinking how expensive tools are and the cost of materials and on top of that insulin and other supplies needed to keep me from getting sick and ending up admitted in the hospital AGAIN for DKA (Diabetic Keto acidosis) although I do have health insurance I still felt as if i was a burden because the prices even with insurance are outrageous!! so I thought I would try and sell a couple things that I have made to help offset these cost, I sold a cutting board here and there made a few custom projects and here I am today a few years later still trying to sell cutting boards and other things I make.
